On the occasion of World Poetry Day, proclaimed by UNESCO in 1999 and celebrated on March 21, IILA presents “Caleidoscopio de Voces”: through IILA’s social pages, six Latin American poets will take us on a journey through contemporary Latin American poetry. The program is curated by Matteo Lefèvre, University of Rome “Tor Vergata.”
The theme of this edition is “Territories of Poetry.” The territories of poetry embrace physical and spiritual spaces, real and imaginary landscapes, concreteness and fantasy. From this perspective comes the desire to frame and disseminate poetry that develops alongside music, video and visual arts in a plurality of creative and innovative languages.
The poets’ works will be shared weekly on IILA’s social pages:
- Carmen Leonor Ferro (Venezuela)
- Aurora Floral (Valery Céspedes) (Cile)
- Checo Mendoza (Messico)
- Fernanda Cortés (Colombia)
- Florencia Dapiaggi (Argentina)
- Arte Olarte (Mariana Olarte) (Colombia)
