What to do in Rome on the weekend of May 4th and 5th? Here are some suggestions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Era di Maggio<\/strong>: on May 4th and 5th 2024<\/strong>, Sens Eventi, in collaboration with the Botanical Garden Museum of Rome <\/strong>and the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, organized the event entitled “Era di Maggio<\/a>“. The famous garden of Trastevere, the\u00a0Orto Botanico di Roma<\/strong>, will host a rich calendar of new events, for adults, children and floriculture enthusiasts, which will combine games and entertainment with culture to learn, having fun, together with the whole family.

Magic Grand International Magic Gala<\/strong>: the Grand International Magic Gala<\/a> will be held at the Auditorium della Conciliazione<\/strong> on 4 and 5 May. The tight and exciting program will alternate performances by Lupis, Hannu Juntunen, Ram\u00f2 and Alegria, Jimmy Delp, Starman, Evolution Dance Theater, Sara Maya, Erix Logan<\/strong>. Two magical dates to daydream.

Casa del Cinema<\/strong>: all scheduled events and films will have free admission<\/strong>. The initiative aims to celebrate one year since the renovation and reopening of the structure. Saturday 4 May<\/strong>: at 6pm Black Narcissus by Micheal Powell and at 8pm Il Segno di Venere by Dino Risi. Sunday 5 May<\/strong>: at 11am Pinocchio by Matteo Garrone, at 6pm L’Atalante by Jean Vigo and at 8pm 8\u00bd by Federico Fellini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Itineraries in search of Light<\/strong>: Saturday 4 May is the last day of the three-day initiative entitled “Itineraries in search of Light” to celebrate the International Dance Day<\/strong> (29 April) in the setting of the Museum of the Villa of Maxentius<\/strong> (Museo di Villa Massenzio). It starts at 10.00 with a dance lesson open to the public and subsequently a guided tour to discover the monumental complex, followed, from 12.00 to 13.00 with intervals of 10 minutes each, a sequence of three performances of choreographic studies designed specifically for the Mausoleum of Romulus. . On the occasion of the\u00a0extraordinary evening opening, from 7.15pm, to sunset, visitors will be accompanied in the transition from light to darkness, when the Villa, enhanced by artistic lighting, itself becomes a space of art and shadows, until 8.30pm, when the public will be able to watch a selection of contemporary choreographies, music and original arrangements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uninhabitable Architectures<\/strong>: until May 5th you can visit the “Uninhabitable Architectures<\/a>” exhibition. The exhibition offers a new point of view on architecture<\/strong> with the aim of investigating the critical relationship between living and building, starting from some buildings that are emblematic of this fracture. Among the approximately\u00a0150 images<\/strong>\u00a0that are part of the exhibition, the photos\u00a0of great Italian authors such as Gianni Berengo Gardin, Guido Guidi, Marzia Miglior, Gianni Leone and many others <\/strong>stand out. At an international level, the images of\u00a0Mark Power, Sekiya Masaaki, Steve McCurry<\/strong> stand out.

Don’t forget that May 5th is the first Sunday of the month<\/strong> and entry into the Civic Museums of Rome Capital and some archaeological areas is free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
