Arte e cinema d&#8217;animazione in Italia, an exhibition project dedicated to the connections between Italian artists and animated films between 1957 and 1977. The project is part of a PRIN, a research project financed by the MUR entitled La \u2018golden age\u2019 of Italian animation from the economic boom to the years of lead (1957- 1977), promoted by the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma and the Universit\u00e0 degli Studi RomaTre. It will be on display <strong>from 13 June to 12 October.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Roma Capitale, Assessorato alla Cultura, Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali, promotes the exhibition. Z\u00e8tema Progetto Cultura museum services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A mano libera (Freehand) &#8211; curated by Bruno Di Marino &#8211; takes into consideration about one hundred works of various types (drawings, paintings, storyboards, rodovetri, backdrops, puppets, photographic works, etc.) and about thirty films, all made over a twenty-year period, 1957-1977, the period in which &#8211; among other things &#8211; \u2018Carosello\u2019, the successful TV programme aired, which not only influenced Italian consumption and customs, but also helped to consolidate Italian animation from a productive point of view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Museo di Roma in Trastevere hosts A mano libera.
