The genius of Russian classical music knew the poet&#8217;s work from early childhood; the French governess of the Tchaikovsky family, Fanny Durbach, called Petr \u201clittle Pushkin\u201d because of his poetic talent. For Tchaikovsky, Pushkin became the foundation of his musical creativity. The composer&#8217;s three major operas-\u201cEvgenij Onegin,\u201d \u201cMazepa\u201d and \u201cThe Lady of Spades\u201d-reflect the depth of Pushkin&#8217;s work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students of Russian language courses at the Russian House in Rome and pupils of Russian schools in the Italian capital will read Aleksandr Sergeevi\u010d&#8217;s poems in Russian and Italian.
