At the center of their dialogue at the Goethe House will be their reflections on contemporary poetry, published in the volume Grand Tour. Reisen durch die junge Lyrik Europas, as well as their works that they have translated each other. Sieben Arten von Wei\u00df (Hanser, 2022), a collection of selected poems by Federico Italiano, was translated into German by Raoul Schrott and Jan Wagner, while the anthologies Variations on the barrel of rainwater (Einaudi, 2019) and Self-portrait with swarm of bees (Bompiani, 2022) by Jan Wagner were translated by Federico Italiano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two poets, Italiano and Wagner, will read selected poems, leading us into the borderland between sense and sound, word and music, and will discuss the creative possibilities of translation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event will take place in Italian and German, with consecutive translation.
