The event, organised by the Chinese Community in Rome, celebrates the year of the Wooden Snake, symbol of wisdom and transformation. On the programme are performances, parades, traditional dances and tastings of typical dishes. The second day, 8 February, will feature a dragon parade and lion dances, followed by institutional greetings from the Chinese ambassador and tastings of traditional dishes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Full programme:<br><strong>7 February<\/strong><br>9 a.m. &#8211; 10 p.m.: cultural exhibition and Chinese cooking gazebo<br><br><strong>8 February<\/strong><br>9-22 hrs. culture exhibition and Chinese cooking gazebo &#8211; lantern magic, light show, guessing games and award ceremony.<br>Hours 5-6 pm: Chinese New Year celebration by the Chinese community<br>6-7 pm: lantern festival<br><br><strong>9 February<\/strong><br>Hours 9 a.m.-2 p.m.: Chinese New Year Celebration 2025, shows and gazebos<br>Hours 10 a.m.: dragon parade and lion dances<br>Hours 13:00: institutional greetings with the Chinese Ambassador in Rome and performances<br>3 p.m.: award ceremony<br><br>Free entrance.
