Weekend in Rome – June 22nd and 23th

What to do in Rome on the weekend of June 22nd and 23rd? Here are some suggestions:

-"Just add water" exhibition: on Saturday 22 June at 6pm there will be the inauguration of the two-person exhibition by Alessandra Cecchini and Andrea Frosolini entitled "Just Add Water" at the PrimaLnea studio exhibition space. The exhibition will be open until September 7th.
Free entry.

-Harmoniae: from 21 June the Accademia Filarmonica Romana is organizing the Harmoniae festival, a full calendar of events from Arnold Schönberg to the electronic music of Vittorio Montalti, from the return of Germano Mazzocchetti and to the jazz of Marco Sinopoli; from the frenetic rhythms of the Japanese drums of Munedaiko, to the Argentine music of Cuartetango; from Mariachis to contemporary music.

-Venere in Musica: this weekend you can enjoy the ideal musical event from the Archaeological Park of the Colosseum entitled Venere in Musica, directed by Alfonsina Russo and curated by Fabrizio Arcuri who signs the artistic direction. Now in its third edition, Ginevra di Marco, Almar'à orchestra and Babelnova orchestra will play on Saturday 22 June and Russell Crowe & the Gentlemen Barbers on Sunday 23 June.

-Vinòforum: until Sunday 23 June Vinoforum will be at Circo Massimo, the event for years has made Rome the spokesperson for the great Italian oenological and gastronomic excellences, through tastings, thematic focuses and business oriented meetings, as well as moments dedicated to haute cuisine and to culinary traditions for the general public. In the new location rich in history, it hosts over 878 companies exhibiting at the event including Italian and international wineries, restaurants, wine bars, gastronomic companies, with the sole aim of promoting the agri-food culture of our country. 

-Travel Literature Festival: this weekend at Palazzetto Mattei and the Gardens of Villa Celimontana you can participate in the Travel Literature Festival: a series of meetings, readings, prizes, exhibitions, screenings and shows dedicated to travel. The theme for 2024 is "Orients, orient yourself, dis/orientate yourself".
