What to do in Rome on the weekend of 8 and 9 June? Here are some suggestions:
–Pantheon Rome a soundtrack experience: on Saturday 8 June at 9pm at the Pantheon the concert entitled “Pantheon Rome, a soundtrack experience. From tourist to pilgrim, towards the Jubilee” will be held. The event, promoted by the Chapter of Canons of Santa Maria ad Martyres and by the Rector Archpriest, Monsignor Daniele Micheletti in collaboration with D’Uva, a company operating in the sector of cultural heritage interpretation and management of museum and hospitality services, represents a precursor to the activities for the Jubilee which will take place starting next autumn and then throughout 2025.

–European Athletics Championships: the European Athletics Championships will take place from 7 to 12 June at the Olympic Stadium in Rome. There will be 9 champions from the last World Championships in Budapest 2023 and 13 Olympic champions from Tokyo 2020: from the Swede Armand Duplantis for the pole vault to the Norwegians Jakob Ingebrigtsen (1500/5000 metres) and Karsten Warholm (400 hurdles), passing through the Dutch Femke Bol in the 400 hurdles to the Ukrainian Yaroslava Mahuchikh for the high jump, up to the world gold medalists such as Gianmarco Tamberi, the Greek Miltiadis Tentoglou (long jump), the Swede Daniel Stahl (discus throw) and the British Katarina Johnson-Thompson (Heptathlon).
–The Room of the Pink Flamingos: after the inauguration on Friday, from 8 to 28 June it will be possible to visit Mario Ferrante‘s personal exhibition entitled “The Room of the Pink Flamingos and other stories” at the Edarcom Europa Gallery. The exhibition, curated by Francesco Ciaffi and Alice Crisponi, presents thirty paintings from recent years that highlight the artist’s personal and professional bond.

- –White Night of the EUR and Electric Days: on 8 June, on the occasion of the 2 days dedicated to sustainable mobility Electric Days, the White Night will be held in the South/West district of Rome which will see a succession of artistic performances, concerts, sports and activities dedicated to the little ones. Also scheduled are e-boat tours on the Laghetto dell’Eur with electric boats, talks on sustainable mobility with influencers and stakeholders.

–Federico Paciotti interprets Giacomo Puccini: the National Museum of musical instruments hosts the concert by Federico Paciotti in his rock revisitation of the works of the composer from Lucca on Sunday 9 June at 5.30 pm. In the museum’s auditorium, the guitarist and tenor will confirm his extraordinary interpretative modernity in a concert that also strives to offer new elements of musical appeal for a heterogeneous audience with a youthful soul.
