What to do in Rome on the weekend of 27 and 28 April 2024? Here are some suggestions:
The Adventure of Money: until Sunday 28 April you still have time to visit the exhibition The Adventure of Money at Palazzo delle Esposizioni, curated by Paco Lanciano and Giovanni Carrada. The exhibition traces the history of finance, with the possibility of admiring very rare objects such as the terracotta tablets on which the Sumerians wrote the first loan contracts. The journey ends with the last rooms which show the importance of finance today, in everyone's daily life and within complex economic systems.
Full ticket 4 euros.
Cento Pittori Via Margutta Exhibition: from 27 April to 1 May 2024, the 121st edition of the historic art event of the Cento Pittori Via Margutta Association returns to Rome. This year's theme will be "Artificial intelligence and creativity: the relationship between man and machine".
Free entry every day from 10am to 8pm.
FloraCult: Flora Cult, the thirteenth edition of the horticultural and sustainability exhibition, returns to Rome. FloraCult will offer a journey that winds through over 150 exhibitors alongside workshops, installations, cultural and recreational experiences. Unusual and rare botanical collections, to see or buy, garden furniture and everything that can be used for outdoor life, artisanal, vintage, recycled objects and sustainable creativity.
Free entry.
Visit to the Archaeological Park of Ostia Antica: Sunday 28 April 2024 is the last opportunity to participate in a visit to discover some interesting places in the Archaeological Area of Ostia Antica, sites usually closed due to particular fragile conditions. This Sunday, Coop Culture offers a visit to the Colored Houses, three examples of noble houses where it will be possible to admire the lively and typical tones of Roman painting.
Ticket for the visit 7 euros; for the entire park 18 euros.
Wonderwall photographic exhibition: only on Saturday 27 April it will be possible to visit the Wonderwall photographic exhibition in Tor Bella Monaca to talk about urban accessibility, but also an artistic tour to rethink the Roman suburbs in the name of inclusion. It is the last appointment of the project promoted by Roma Capitale in collaboration with Zètema Progetto Cultura. A final event that actually opens up the debate on urban accessibility: through a photographic exhibition people will be accompanied by the hand and helped to rediscover Rome through the eyes of those who, every day, face it as a personal challenge.
Free entry.
Have a nice weekend!
