The calendar of activities promoted at the Bioparco for the Christmas holidays is full of events. Many initiatives for families and children.
Boxing Day and Sunday 29 December at 11.30am and 2.30pm in the Sala degli Elephanti
ANIMAL TOMBOLA
Two repeats for a special raffle with prizes, in which, instead of numbers, they will find the animals of the Bioparco. Each child will receive a folder. The animators will extract the animals but in addition to looking for them on their respective folders, the participants will have to answer quizzes and pass fun tests and games.
From 26 December to 6 January every day
MEET THE GUARDIAN
The zoological staff will be available to the public to deepen their knowledge of the park’s guest specimens and to receive stimuli on everything related to the natural environment and its conservation.
Appointments: 11.00 am macaques – 11.30 am catta lemurs – 12.00 pm elephants – 2.00 pm chimpanzees – 3.00 pm sea lions – 3.30 pm penguins.
Activities THOSE WHO DO NOT ADAPT ARE LOST
In the company of the teaching staff, through close observation of the animals present in the laboratory, it will be possible to understand structures, shapes, colors and behaviors that represent an adaptation of that particular species to its natural environment.
The activity takes place from 11.00 to 15.15, is aimed at everyone and you will be able to observe: Madagascar geckos, stick insects, red-legged tortoises, arrow frogs, toads, pogons, axolotls and chameleons .
Activities by reservation. The reservation can be made on the same day of the visit at the park entrance at the reservation desk.
BEFANA – Monday 6 January
Great TREASURE HUNT: IN SEARCH OF THE GOLDEN SOCK!
A treasure hunt for families to explore the Biopark and learn curiosities and anecdotes about the most curious character of the beginning of the new year. Four tests to pass and the golden sock to find…. Who among the animals of the Bioparco will have helped the Befana during the most awaited night of the new year? Who keeps the Befana’s golden stocking? For each successful test, a colored candy will be given. Only those who have the four colored candies will be able to go and collect the final clue that will lead the teams to find the golden sock.
Also on January 6th at 11.30am you can make socks for the catta lemurs together with the keepers.
And then… The special promotions at the end of 2024 of the Bioparco di Roma
Until December 31st, if you purchase or gift an annual subscription, the month of December is free!
Until the day of the Epiphany, anyone who shows the ticket for ‘Christmas World’ – the large Christmas village of Villa Borghese – at the Bioparco cash desks – will be entitled to entry to the Bioparco for 10 Euros (purchases at the cash desk only). This last discount cannot be combined with other ongoing promotions.
