Three concerts for three evenings of music that will envelop the Scottish church of St. Andrew and thus the city of Rome. The concerts will see Luisa Sello and Bruno Canino, flute & piano, performing on Friday 1st November at 9pm, on Saturday 2nd at 9pm the Maclé Duo with pianists Sabrina Dente and Annamaria Garibaldi, and on Sunday 3rd at 5.30pm La Rimembranza, trio of voices and historical guitar, formed by Maurizia Barazzoni, Diana Corradini and Sandro Volta.
Emotions in music is the title of the concert chosen by Luisa Sella and Bruno Canino to range from Bach, Beethoven, Milhaud and Dvořák. Flute and piano come together in an extraordinary harmony capable of enchanting the audience with these giants of classical music. The Maclé Duo will perform on 4-hand piano to evoke eclectic sounds, at times “chaotic” but always capable of releasing all the best vibrations of the piano and giving life to an exhilarating musical journey from Piazzolla to Gershwin. On Sunday afternoon, however, La Rimembranza will present a musical program with unusual sounds typical of the nineteenth-century style of Bel canto and entitled Interprete d’Amore.
Voices and guitar dialogue to explore romantic melodies and search for sensuality and overwhelming and passionate feelings in music. All concerts will be held at the Scottish church of St. Andrew, located in the center of Rome, which for the occasion opens its doors to give the concert evenings a sacred spirituality.
The concert series is organized by The Arts Crossroad, a social association born from the passion of Chieko Hata and a group of music-loving friends. The association creates projects in which music and art interconnect, giving life to new forms of expression.
