While many countries are fine-tuning the transition to a post-Covid-19 phase, lifting restrictions in the hope that the virus that has plagued us for more than two years may fade, it will be interesting to see if next year’s report highlights a renewed enthusiasm in visitors or if new habits have been consolidated. Rome occupies the ninth position with the Colosseum Park and as a destination chosen by tourists in Italy, it is surpassed only by the Uffizi in Florence, while the tenth place is occupied by the Vatican Museums.
The ranking of the top 10 positions of the most visited monuments or museums in the world was drawn up by the Giornale dell’Arte.
