Oral history of Italian diplomacy

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has recently made available a series of seven podcasts in the form of interviews of particular interest which go under the title of “Oral history of Italian diplomacy“. The podcasts can be listened to on the “Voci dalla Farnesina” channel available on various platforms (including Spreaker, Spotify and Apple podcasts).

The “Oral history of Italian diplomacy” project aims to collect and make available online a series of audio interviews (in the form of conversations) with retired Italian diplomats. The project, conceived and coordinated by the amb. Stefano Baldi, was created by the Training Unit of the Directorate General for Resources and Innovation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, through the involvement of young diplomats and newly hired diplomats who, during their training period , were responsible for the preparation and implementation of the interviews. The project also makes use of the collaboration of the Analysis, Programming, Statistics and Historical Documentation Unit of the General Directorate for Public Diplomacy of the MAECI.
