Tōkyō-Roma. Parole in Transito

On Saturday 7 December 2024 in Rome, at 3.00 p.m., as part of the event ‘Più libri Più liberi’ (More books More freedom) in Sala Cepell, at the Centro Congressi La Nuvola, the Award Ceremony of the Literary Prize ‘Tōkyō-Roma. Parole in Transito’; now in its third edition.

The winners for the year 2024 of the Prize will be present, the author of the novel ‘Dendera’ published by Rizzoli, Satō Yūya and the translator Bruno Forzan. Speakers at the event include the Prize’s patroness, Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs Maria Tripodi, Ambassador Umberto Vattani, Japan’s Ambassador to Italy Suzuki Satoshi and Stefania Viti of the Commissioner General for Italy at Expo 2025 Osaka. Nicola Genga of the Centre for Books and Reading will moderate.

On the same morning of Saturday 7 December, also in Rome, at 10.30 a.m., translator Bruno Forzan and writer Satō Yūya will take part in a meeting open to the public, with prior booking, at the Japanese Cultural Institute in Via Gramsci 74, in the presence of Director Junichi Shimizu, the President of the Umberto Vattani Foundation and director and writer Enrico Vanzina. Journalist Fabiola Palmeri will moderate.
