The Rome Marathon
On Sunday, March 16, a great celebration of sports awaits the capital. The Rome Marathon – Acea Run Rome the Marathon will cross the streets of the city for its 30th edition, starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Imperial Forum and finishing at the Circus Maximus.
There are almost 28 thousand registered participants at the moment and in total more than 50 thousand people will participate in all related events. Numbers are growing (in 2021 there were 7105 registered participants) for an event that is now increasingly confirmed as a landmark. It is the largest ever sports event in the history of Italy where professional and amateur athletes actively participate.
