The Audiophonologopedy center dedicates two days to children
Among the many, small and large results achieved in decades of activity by the Audiophonologopedy Center of Rome, very active in the study, rehabilitation and integration of disadvantaged individuals in school and society, there are two theatrical performances, which this year will take place in Rome.
On Wednesday 26 June at 6 pm, at the Teatro dei Sacri Cuori, via Magliano Sabina 33, The Sick Man, the Inspector and Harlequin by the Innkeeper will be staged, a drama created together with 30 young people and adults from the Centre, which sees the intersection of comedies The Innkeeper, Harlequin Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni with The Imaginary Invalid by Moliérè and The Inspector General by Gogol.
On Wednesday 3 July it will be the turn of the 34 children aged 5 to 11 with the staging of Peter Pan, known by all as the child who didn’t want to grow up. Logotheater therapy uses theatrical techniques and games with the aim of working on the linguistic, communicative and relational fragilities of all those who show more or less slight difficulties in this area: this is the approach conducted by the teacher, director and screenwriter, Cecilia Moreschi , who has been using Logotheater therapy for years as an integral part of her Method
developed together with Maria Lauriello and Giorgia Salemi, all professors at the University of L’Aquila and Sapienza in Rome.
Both shows are the final moment of the workshops, which this year saw the participation of 76 children, adolescents and adults. During the course of the year, the Logotheater therapy laboratory stimulates numerous skills in the participants, such as congruous and contextual, verbal and non-verbal language, space-time organization, tolerance to frustration, autonomy, executive functions, social and relational. All this has the one and only purpose of improving the quality of their lives and their relationships, so that everyone is richer, more satisfied and happier. The aim of the two closing shows is to demonstrate, to the audience and the actors, that everyone already has within themselves what they want. However, everyone needs the opportunity to make their own inner journey, which in this case corresponds to a rehabilitation process, with the help of trained therapists, together with friends, companions, adults capable of helping him, showing him the way, but above all bring out and refine your resources. The result will not be a miracle, but a service for everyone and not for the individual causing the discomfort.
