Relations between the European Union and MERCOSUR: trade, tractors, politics

The study seminar on the topic: “Relations between the European Union and MERCOSUR: trade, tractors, politics” will take place next Wednesday 15 May 2024, 3 pm – 4.30 pm at SIOI, p.za S.Marco 51, Rome ( Palazzo Venezia).

The initiative is promoted by the Italian Society for International Organization (SIOI) and the European League of Economic Cooperation (ELEC), with the collaboration of the International Network for SMEs (INSME).

The Seminar, in which eminent experts participate, offers the opportunity to evaluate and understand the difficulties and limits of the EU’s international cooperation in the current globalization process. Emblematic is the recent blocking of the trade agreement between the EU and Mercosur, after 25 years of negotiations, which affects European relations with Latin America.
