Picasso the stranger
The exhibition Picasso the stranger, organized by the Rome Foundation in collaboration with Marsilio Arte, will open at Palazzo Cipolla from 27 February 2025 and will be visible until 29 June. Created by Annie Cohen-Solal, the exhibition explores the artist’s identity as an immigrant in France, where, despite his worldwide fame, he never obtained citizenship. A journey that combines aesthetics and politics to tell how Picasso revolutionized twentieth-century art by living the condition of a “foreigner”.
