Pet Carpet film festival

A hug with 2 and 4 legs, but also with wings, with scales, with gills. Happiness in a series of heartfelt stories, those that unite men and animals and which will be the absolute protagonists of the Pet Carpet Film Festival, the international and solidarity film event dedicated to the animal world. On 28 and 29 September 2024 at the Casa del Cinema in Rome the State Police, the Carabinieri, the Italian Red Cross, Anas and Fnovi will be present to underline the value of inclusion, the central theme of the seventh edition of the event conceived by the journalist Federica Rinaudo who also takes care of the artistic direction. Indissoluble bonds, gestures of love and heroic acts for the event, sponsored by the Chamber of Deputies, State Police, Carabinieri, Italian Red Cross, Fnovi, Anas (Italian Fs Group), organized by the Pet Carpet association of the same name, whose direction has long been the signature of the talented actor Pietro Romano. Alongside Rinaudo herself in hosting the semi-final and final, two beloved faces of the show: the actor Massimiliano Vado, in the company of his dog Renato, and the singer-songwriter Grazia Di Michele symbolically together with her cat Nina to whom she dedicated a song presented premiered and released by Azzurra Music.

A special festival created to tell the commitment of the volunteers of numerous associations, the daily difficulties of the less fortunate pets, the stories of the four-legged heroes involved in rescue operations and of all the efforts that often allow an important happy ending for the protection of the the environment and its creatures. Among the various events of the festival, created thanks to the collaboration of the leading Pet Store companies Conad and Vitakraft and the collaboration of Cucciolotta, the participation of schools, many guests, the special one of the president of the jury Enzo Salvi, the true backbone of the Pet Carpet (as well as testimonial of numerous campaigns in defense of the creatures that populate the earth), guests such as: the ventriloquist Antonio Diana, magician of the voice with his four-legged puppets, the author, director, actor Bustric, a true master of the art who has impressed also Roberto Benigni who wanted him in the film “Life is beautiful” and the very young artists of the magical musical “Abracadown”, with the founder Francesco Leardini, who in addition to being on stage will welcome the public in the audience. A job opportunity to give a concrete message of all-round inclusion.
