NATO 2024: Beyond the 75th anniversary

The NATO North Atlantic Treaty Organization celebrates its 75th anniversary, marking a significant milestone in its mission to ensure peace and security for 32 Allies and to project security together with its partners.

NATO Defense College Foundation and the CASD Center for Advanced Studies for Defense have promoted an event on: “NATO 2024: Beyond the 75th anniversary”, which will be held on Monday 8 July, from 3.00 pm to 7.15 pm, in the Multimedia Room of the CASD Center for Higher Studies for Defense, in Piazza della Rovere, 83.

The conference will be held in collaboration with the NATO Defense College, the Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung, the International Council on Environmental Economics and Development (ICEED) and the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation. the event enjoys the high patronage of the President of the Republic.

We will discuss: how NATO can maintain its cohesion and strengthen its role as a major player in international security; how NATO can expand partnerships in the Southern Region to project stability, adopting a comprehensive 360-degree approach, countering aggressive external intentions and ensuring freedom of navigation in the Indian Ocean.
The works will take place in English and will also be available in live streaming.
