Martín Chirino. The Sculptor of Iron
The Instituto Cervantes in Rome has just opened the exhibition ‘Martín Chirino. The Sculptor of Iron’ hosted in the Sala Dalí in Piazza Navona, from 20 February to 3 May. The exhibition is organised by the Instituto Cervantes in Rome and promoted by the CajaCanarias Foundation together with the Martín Chirino Foundation for Art and Thought in collaboration with TureSpaña, curated by Marta Chirino and Alejandro Togores, proposes, for the first time in Italy, a careful selection of works including sculptures, drawings and engravings dating from 1957 to 2011 that aim to be a tribute to one of the most important Spanish artists of the 20th century. The exhibition has just been opened.
