L’estro intelligente
The chamber music of the Accademia Filarmonica Romana resumes at the Teatro Argentina on Thursday 30 January (9 pm) with the concert L’estro intelligente by the ensemble Concerto de’ Cavalieri, one of Italy’s leading ensembles in the field of early music, a guest of major international concert institutions, conducted by Marcello Di Lisa. A dialogue between the Baroque instrumental music of its most famous composers, Johann Sebastian Bach and Antonio Vivaldi, and that of Estonian composer Arvo Pärt, a musician with a strong spiritual imprint and one of the most important of the last century, who celebrates his 90th birthday in 2025. A concert therefore with unexpected and surprising correspondences.
