Indo-Pacific and Euro-Atlantic security: EU-Japan cooperation
On the third anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, U.S. President Trump asserts that he can broker a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine. This outcome could also affect the Indo-Pacific region. The geopolitical connections between the Euro-Atlantic and Indo-Pacific regions have become increasingly apparent in recent years.
How can these two sides of Eurasia collaborate effectively? Both regions are facing new security threats, including cybersecurity issues, disinformation campaigns, foreign interference, gray zone conflicts, trade disruptions, and sabotage of undersea infrastructure. These challenges require immediate responses.
How can we leverage each other’s experiences to address these issues in our respective areas?
