Germany has chosen: what does it mean for Europe?
Germany has chosen: what does it mean for Europe? Analysis, opinions, scenarios. The debate meeting will be held at Palazzo Baldassini, Sala Perin del Vaga on 24 February 2025, at 6.00 pm. We are just days away from the federal elections in Germany. Who will rule Germany? What alliances will be formed? Is the European political framework destined to change?
These German elections are not just a national issue: their outcome will influence the balance and policies of the European Union in the coming years. What scenarios will open up for Germany and Europe?
We will talk about all this with experts to better understand what awaits us.
They will speak:
Giangiacomo Calovini – Member of the Chamber of Deputies and President of the Italy-Germany Parliamentary Friendship Group. A few days before the elections he will be in Germany to closely observe the political climate in the days leading up to the elections.
Lisa Di Giuseppe – Tomorrow’s journalist and editor of Deutsche Vita. He deals with politics, economics and foreign affairs, with a particular focus on Germany. He has worked for Reuters, La7, Corriere della Sera and Public Policy.
Udo Zolleis – Director of Strategy for the EPP Group, who will also give us a European perspective on the elections in Germany.
