Foreign Painters – Costa Rica

Wednesday 8 May, at 6.30 pm, the Embassy of the Republic of Costa Rica in Italy invites you to the inauguration of the exhibition “Foreign Painters – Costa Rica”, at the IILA headquarters – International Italian-Latin American Organization, Via Giovanni Paisiello 24, Rome. The exhibition is part of a series of initiatives carried out in Italy by the Costa Rican artistic collective MerchArt, represented by its director Irene Antillón, which presents three exhibitions in three different cities in Italy. The first will be at the IILA on May 8, 2024, where 27 Costa Rican artists will collect their works to share them with the Italian public. The second and third exhibitions will be held, respectively, at the Galleria Santa Chiara of CIVICO 25 in Assisi, on 10 May, and at the Diocesan and Capitular Museum of Terni, on 18 May, both with the title ITALY CALLS COSTA RICA, with 33 other painters. A total of 60 painters, whose participation has been declared of cultural interest by the Costa Rican government, will combine their energies and talents to showcase the richness of Costa Rican art.

The exhibition will remain open until May 28, 2024. Opening hours: Monday to Thursday, 09.00 – 17.30; Friday, 09.00 – 14.00
