Exhibition “Contemporary Icons”

From 13 to 20 April 2024, the second edition of the “Contemporary Icons” exhibition will open to the public in the prestigious rooms of the Vatican Chancellery Palace (Piazza della Cancelleria 1- Roma), courtesy of the Administration of the Heritage of the Apostolic See. The opening cerimony of the exhibition will be held on Saturday 13 April at 5.30 pm, by invitation only.

The significant title chosen for the exhibition project of different artists, curated by Anna Isopo and Giorgio Vulcano, wants to underline how the work of art represents a map and every detail is a trace of the artist and his identity.

Three of the evocative rooms host the personal exhibitions of Camilla Ghione, Anna Tonelli and Mirella Ventura, while in the other rooms you can admire the works of Daniela Ferrero, Sandro Frinolli Puzzilli, Silvana Landolfi, Andréa Lobel, Silvana Mascioli, Roberto Pestarino, Fabrizio Sola, Pietro Spadafina, Emma Testa and Marilena Visini.
