On April 19th at 6.30 pm the Casa Russa in Rome hosts the concert "L'Aquila nel Cuore" on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the devastating earthquake in L'Aquila, which cost the lives of 309 people. The “FALL Quartet” of saxophonists from the "Alfredo Casella" Conservatory will perform music for wind instruments, the main piece of the program is the “Saxophone Quartet, Op.109” by the Russian composer Aleksandr Glazunov.
The evening will be held as part of the fifth season of the "Friendship Concerts" project in collaboration with "L'Aquila è noi", the cultural association created a few months after the earthquake, in July 2009.
