Colonne Infinite
In the heart of Rome, between the Archaeological Park of the Colosseum, Piazza Bocca della Verità and the Septizodium, five artist columns have taken place. This is Colonne Infinite, the installation by Korean artist Park Eun Sun curated by Leonardo Contini on the occasion of the Year of Cultural Exchange Italy and Korea 2024-2025. The exhibition, created in collaboration with the Archaeological Park of the Colosseum, the Municipality of Rome and the Contini Art Gallery, consists of five monumental sculptural works of art measuring 14 and 6 metres that rise towards the sky, giving life to a the operation that brings contemporary art to ancient Rome to pay homage to the 140th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Italy and Korea.
The exhibition, available until 30 September 2024, takes place in three significant sites in the historic center such as the Temple of Venus, Piazza Bocca della Verità and the Septizodium which overlooks the Circus Maximus.
