Christine Angot presents La Nuit sur commande at Villa Medici
The Academy of France in Rome – Villa Medici hosts Christine Angot, among the most influential voices in contemporary French literature, for a meeting dedicated to her latest book La Nuit sur commande, published in 2025 by the Stock publishing house. The event will be held on Wednesday, May 28, at 6:30 p.m. in the Great Hall of Villa Medici.
After talks by authors such as Kamel Daoud, Leïla Slimani, Éric Chevillard, and Lola Lafon, Christine Angot has chosen the Bourse de Commerce in Paris as the site of her experience. The result is La Nuit sur commande, a personal and evocative text that combines autobiographical memory and reflection on time, art, and the perception of childhood.
