AALTO – Aino Alvar Elissa. The human dimension of the project

The story of the Aaltos’ planning, is a thought in which buildings and design live in perfect harmony with nature and the man who inhabits them. An exhibition that will be inaugurated at MAXXI on 14 December and will remain open to the public until 26 May 2024.

In the Aaltos’ vision, architecture, art and design are inseparable parts of a unicum. Buildings that have become icons, influencing architects from all over the world and design objects that, also thanks to the Studio’s attention to low-cost mass production, have entered the homes of many people and are still in production today.
