“147 Abrazos” e “Hasta donde”
On June 28 and 29, at 7.45 pm, at the Tor Tre Teste Alessandrino Park, dance is the protagonist with “147 Abrazos” and “Hasta donde” by Sharon Fridman in collaboration with the Spanish Academy.
147 Abrazos is an excerpt from Dosis de paraìso, Sharon Fridman’s latest creation, an exploration of love and relationships. Repetition is the key to this work, repetition leads to a cadence that sacrifices consciousness and generates instability. Movement in a relationship, which arises from a need, demands the satisfaction of the other. By repeating an action, a gesture, we establish a path, and it is only by bringing that same movement to its limit that we can switch off in another place. Repetition generates lines in space, tracing paths that extend from dependence to trust, from fear of loneliness to union, from fear of emptiness to forgiveness.
Hasta donde is “a jewel of intensity and nuances. Recommended and exquisite show that leaves everyone speechless, duet from the lack of love towards chaos, beautiful miniature supported by an effective and somber music. The dancers struggle in speech, they know that everything that unites them, will separate them, and transmit it in a tragic and lacerated breath of a high level. ” (Roger Salas, El País)
