The call for bids Artes et Iubilaeum 2025 is an important opportunity to contribute to the rich programme of cultural initiatives that will accompany the Jubilee 2025 through a public notice that makes available 5 million euro for major cultural projects aimed at the city during the Holy Year. The call is aimed at promoting cultural initiatives, events and activities capable of expressing the value of dialogue between different cultures, from an interdisciplinary perspective, enhancing our historical, archaeological and artistic heritage. It is therefore an investment in the city’s intangible heritage, as understood by the Faro Convention, which will accompany the many investments in cultural heritage that we are carrying out with Mayor Roberto Gualtieri in these very months with the Caput Mundi Project.
With Artes et Jubileum, Roma Capitale therefore intends to support both proposals that enhance the traditionally understood cultural heritage and projects that build bridges between different cultural traditions, promoting a universal message of inclusion and solidarity. In this respect, the contents of the call for proposals, including cultural and social events, heritage promotion, innovation and attention to young people, are instruments through which Rome is to be opened to creativity and rediscover its cosmopolitan vocation.
Therefore, all cultural operators, associations, organisations and collectives interested in participating with their ideas and respective skills can take part, helping to make Jubilee 2025 an opportunity for mutual enrichment and intercultural, intergenerational and international dialogue.
All the information about the call, including how to participate and the deadlines for submitting projects, will be available on the official website of the Department of Cultural Activities.
Together with the Mayor, the call will be presented in the Sala della Protomoteca in Piazza del Campidoglio on Monday 9 December at 11.30 a.m.
