On Friday 12 April at 6.30 pm, a chamber music concert will be held at the Casa Russa in Rome by young musicians who have won international competitions and participated in numerous prestigious festivals Daria Krotova (piano), Alisa Meltser (piano) and Georgy Gusev (cello) .
The music of Dmitrij Shostakovich, Sergej Rachmaninov, Modest Mussorgsky, Johann Sebastian Bach, Igor Stravinsky, Charles-Camille Saint-Saëns and others will be performed. The concert “Conversation with the Composer” is an immersion in the musical culture of various countries and different musical eras: from Baroque to modern times. The evening will be hosted by Georgy Gusev himself, cellist, composer and conductor who will talk about the history of the creation of the music and the authors' sources of inspiration. He will also perform his songs, some of them for the first time, specifically for the guests of the Casa Russa in Rome.
