Meetings “Now that I think about it. Big themes that we don’t stop reflecting on”

The series of meetings “Now that I think about it. Big themes that we don’t stop reflecting on” starts on Thursday 11 April 2024, organized by Lucy – Sulla cultura, MACRO, Libraries of Rome. The initiative consists of a series of meetings on the major issues of our time which will be examined, from different fields and perspectives, with the ambition of stimulating continuous debate. In line with the interdisciplinary spirit that animates Lucy, in addition to male and female writers, scientists, academics, popularizers, directors, artists will also be involved – in an ideal meeting-clash between different types of knowledge.

The first meeting entitled What future for Europe? it will be held on Thursday 11 April at 7.00 pm and Andrea Graziosi and Luigi Manconi will speak, moderated by Simonetta Fiori. The series of meetings will continue until July with How do you survive a shitstorm? with Eterobasiche, Michele Masneri and Sofia Viscardi on 14 May; Will feminism save Italy? with Annalisa Camilli and Giulia Caminito on May 23; The sense of cities, forests and caves with Paolo Pecere on 2 July.

All meetings will take place in MACRO (Via Nizza 138, Rome) and are for free. For further information, please write to promozionedellalettura@bibliotechediroma.it
