The invisible work
Clode Art Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of Roberto Schiavone’s new solo exhibition, THE INVISIBLE WORK, which can be visited from May 23 to June 6, 2025 at the venue on Greek Street. The opening vernissage will be held on Friday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m., in the presence of the artist.
With this exhibition, Schiavone invites the viewer to go beyond the surface of the work, to slow down the gaze and question what art often does not openly show. “I chose this title because I was interested in emphasizing all the inner work and thought processing that precedes each artist’s work before it is offered for the viewer’s examination,” the artist says. He continues: “In certain works it will be possible to detect the clues of this creative work, while in others they will remain underground. In this sense I intended to stimulate the viewer to observe more carefully and not superficially, with a more analytical gaze.”
