3rd concert dedicated to Dmitri Shostakovich

On Tuesday, May 13 at 6:30 pm we invite you to the third concert dedicated to Dmitri Shostakovich, as part of a joint project with the International School of Music “Avos Project.” Young Italian musicians Fulvio Nicolosi (piano), Elisabetta Furio (piano), Filippo Boldrini (cello), Giuseppe Ottaviani (piano) will perform music by Dmitri Shostakovich, Aleksandr Scriabin and Sergei Prokofiev in the hall of the Russian House in Rome.

In the year of the 80th anniversary of Victory, Dmitri Shostakovich’s compositions are an integral part of the Russian House in Rome’s cultural program. The great composer, musician and teacher is a prominent figure in the history of Soviet art; his work had an enormous influence on the development of world classical music in the 20th century. Shostakovich, with works of unique depth, is among the 40 most performed composers in the world.
