The Russian Troika
The musical program of the Russian House in Rome in 2025 will open on Saturday 18 January at 6.30 pm with the concert “The Russian Troika”. Aleksandr Pokidchenko, composer, pianist, teacher, actor, Artist of Merit of the Russian Federation will perform in our hall; Marina Klimova, beautiful lyric soprano, graduate of the Moscow Academy of Choral Art named after Popov and Mikhail Kazakov, extraordinary Russian saxophonist, winner of the most prestigious competition for saxophonists “Andorra SaxFest”, artist of “Selmer Paris”.
The public will be able to listen to modern versions of classical music and contemporary compositions. The program includes music by Sergei Rachmaninov, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, George Gershwin, Henry Mancini, Roberto Molinelli, Leonardo Bernstein, Vadim Gamalia, Aleksandra Pakhmutova and other composers. Alexander Pokidchenko will perform his own compositions and read poems by Alexander Pushkin.
