Also this year Roma Capitale, Assessorato alla Cultura, Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali adheres to the International Day for Children’s and Adolescents’ Rights with a series of engaging initiatives scheduled for Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 November
With didactic activities, workshops and routes designed for the youngest, ranging from prehistory to contemporaneity, there will be plenty of opportunities to have fun together and bring children and young people closer to the varied historical, artistic, archaeological and naturalistic heritage in our museums: a journey through colours and emotions at the Galleria d’Arte Moderna, the creation of one’s own ‘symbolic flower’ at the Napoleonic Museum, a collection of fruits at the Pleistocene garden of the Museo di Casal de’ Pazzi, a creative writing workshop at the Museo della Repubblica Romana e della memoria garibaldina, word games and quizzes at the Musei Capitolini, the history of the family of the Emperor Augustus at the Museo dell’Ara Pacis and a special Noah’s Ark at the Museo di Roma in Palazzo Braschi. Many of the activities will be accompanied by an Italian Sign Language interpreter.
