SHAKEN GROUNDS: Seismography of Precarious Presences

On November 7th at 6.00 pm the Austrian Culture Forum Rome will inaugurate SHAKEN GROUNDS: Seismography of Precarious Presences, an international artistic project that reflects on the interface between climate change, seismic forces and art.

Already presented with an interdisciplinary symposium held at the MAXXI – National Museum of XXI Century Arts, the work of the Shaken Grounds collective arrives at the Forum presenting itself to the general public with a choice of video contributions to testify some of the artistic interventions carried out in chosen places, from Campi Flegrei at Pasterze (Großglockner). Interviews with scholars and a short documentary of the symposium complete the picture, providing insights into the artistic research process.

Nikolaus Gansterer (AT), Mariella Greil (AT), Peter Kozek (AT) and Lucie Strecker (DE/AT) in collaboration with Helga Franza (IT), Nicola Fornoni (IT), Victor Jaschke (AT), Werner Moebius (AT ), and VestAndPage, aka Andrea Pagnes (IT) / Verena Stenke (DE).

The exhibition will be visible for free from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm until November 29th
