Carmine Calò

The exhibition will be inaugurated on Saturday 21 September 2024 at 6.00 pm at Arte Borgo Gallery solo exhibition by Carmine Calò curated by Anna and the presentation by the art historian Giorgio Vulcano. Carmine Calò makes his debut in the capital with his first solo exhibition. Born in 1964 in province of Avellino, where he still lives and works, it can be said that his artistic journey began in his childhood when he scoured the same roads as the farmers looking for clay for shape it and give life to small sculptures. His studies lead him to dedicate himself completely to his passion and under the guidance of great masters he graduated in sculpture and began to create impressive works sculptures that today are found in public and private collections.

In the exhibition Rudis Terra, the artist presents a corpus of pictorial works and an installation from title Transition, a combination of creativity and incredible craftsmanship that makes the concept expressed by Carmine Calò. The exhibition will be accompanied by a critical commentary by the art historian Giorgio Vulcano who will be present at the inauguration.
