Roma Unplugged Festival

Eight days of live shows, concert lessons, a masterclass and a traveling concert, guided tours and history stories. An uninterrupted dialogue between music, history and nature in a unique landscape in the world to discover or rediscover the treasures of the Appia Antica Park. Roma Unplugged Festival returns for its third edition from Saturday 6th to Sunday 14th July and brings the most interesting voices of jazz (and beyond) to the stage, turning the spotlight on the incomparable historical and archaeological heritage of Rome.

IILA and the Embassies of Brazil and Cuba in Italy sponsor the concerts of the two Latin American artists scheduled:

On Tuesday 9 July, Adriana Calcanhotto (won two Latin Grammy Awards), one of the great protagonists of Brazilian song, takes to the stage with the “Errante Tour” project.

“Mater” will be presented on Friday 12 July, the new project of the Italian singer Maria Pia De Vito, the Cuban pianist Omar Sosa and the Indian musician Trilok Gortu. The three extraordinary performers of this transcultural concert cross India, Cuba and the Mediterranean, connecting to the red thread that unites the different civilizations to the origins of the world, namely the cult of the Mother Goddess.
