Russian House Choir in Rome
On Monday 10 June at 6.30 pm our hall hosts the end-of-season concert of the Russian House Choir in Rome under the direction of Maestro Ekaterina Zarechnaya, graduate of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Choir in 2003- 2008. The program includes songs by Petr Tchaikovsky, Sergei Rachmaninov, Aleksandr Borodin, Vladimir Vavilov and other composers.
On the piano, winner of international competitions Natalia Pogosyan, graduated from the Moscow Conservatory and the National Academy of Santa Cecilia. Soloist Stepan Yakovlev (bass), student of the Baroque Renaissance Singing Course at the “Licinio Refice” Conservatory of Frosinone.
The Russian House Choir in Rome was founded in September 2023. The collective includes Russian compatriots residing in Italy as well as Italians – enthusiasts of the Russian choral school. The artistic goal of the ensemble is the performance of masterpieces of Russian sacred and classical choral music, Russian folk music, as well as European classical repertoire.
