Next May 6th at 3.30 pm, IILA - International Italian-Latin American Organization in collaboration with the Embassy of Brazil in Italy, LIDE Italia, Italy-Brazil Friendship Association and the magazine "Comunité Italiana" has organized the commemorative event of the 150th ° anniversary of Italian emigration to Brazil.
The IILA headquarters will host authoritative Italian-Brazilian personalities from the business world who will testify to the strong and historic bond between Italy and Brazil. The commemoration will proceed with the presentation of the documentary “Mérica. People of the North in South America" on the emigration of Italians from Trentino to Brazil and with the intervention of Annita Garibaldi Jallet, great-granddaughter of the hero of two worlds. The event will conclude with the testimony of the IILA project “the Mill of Ilopolis”.
