"UnArchive Found Footage Fest" will open at the Accademia di Spagna in Rome from 28 May to 2 June 2024.
Now in its second edition, the festival aims to talk about the cinematic and artistic horizons of the creative reuse of images, with the aim of intercepting new and different forms of expression, on the border between cinema, video art, installations and live performances.
"UnArchive Found Footage Fest" is conceived and produced by the Audiovisual Archive Foundation of the Workers' and Democratic Movement (AAMOD), in collaboration with Archivio Luce, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Directorate General for Cinema and Audiovisual and other public and private institutions. The Festival enjoys, among others, the patronage of the Municipality of Rome Department of Culture and of the Spanish Academy in Rome.
