DESCRIPTION:\nOn Tuesday, April 22 at 6:30 pm, the Russian House in Rome will host a concert by the Moscow Saxophone Quartet. Talented Russian musicians, winners of prestigious international competitions Taras Gusarov (alto saxophone), Anastasia Pinchuk (tenor saxophone), Dmitry Pinchuk (baritone saxophone), under the direction of one of the best representatives of the Russian academic school of saxophone, Nikita Zimin (soprano saxophone), will perform a program of classical composers – Michail Glinka, Igor Stravinsky, Georgij Sviridov and Jean-Philippe Rameau.\n\n\n\nThe unique collective, founded in 2023, organizes concerts in different cities of Russia. The performance at the Russian House in Rome will give the audience an atmosphere of musical discoveries, with unusual arrangements and improvisations, exploration of genre boundaries. With a rich palette of timbres and expressive possibilities, the saxophone is capable of conveying both the most delicate lyricism and dramatic depth of songs, regardless of musical genre.\n
