DESCRIPTION:\nOn 14 December the Palazzo dei Congressi in Rome will be the stage for the fourth edition of the Videocittà Awards, the award dedicated to the excellence of digital and audiovisual art.\n\n\n\nHosted by the journalist and art critic Nicolas Ballario and the content creator Momoka Banana, the evening will reward the most innovative companies and the most talented professionals in the sector, divided into five categories: Creators, Immersive Experience, AV Performance, Videoarte and Next.\n\n\n\nThe Videocittà Awards 2024 are organized by Videocittà, the festival created by Francesco Rutelli with the creative direction of Francesco Dobrovich, in co-production with EUR SpA as part of the EURCULTURE 2024/25 festival, and thanks to the sponsor partner Ploom.\n\n\n\nAmong the highlights of the evening, the live audiovisual performance SHIRO by Nonotak is expected. Creative duo founded in 2011 by visual artist Noemi Schipfer and sound and light artist Takami Nakamoto, presents a performance that fuses shadows, lights and techno music through four semi-transparent screens and through the bodies of the artists themselves. A game of superpositions whose result is a unique visual and sound experience, a true dreamlike and immersive journey.\n\n\n\nInside the art foyer it will also be possible to try ODE corporis, the first VR experience of the Rome Opera House, conceived and curated by Anna Lea Antolini with Giuliano Danieli directed by Guido Geminiani. Produced by the Rome Opera Theater in collaboration with Videocittà, it is a journey through the body, in the known and lesser-known, accessible and inaccessible spaces of the Costanzi Theater and its scenographic laboratory, the Cerchi.\n\n\n\nThe evening will then end with an exclusive DJ set by Efee.
