DESCRIPTION:\nThe fifth “Muestra de Cine Mexicano Otoño 2024” will take place at the Casa del Cinema in Rome from 4 to 6 October, the only festival of Mexican cinema in Italy, which will have among its guests the producer Bertha Navarro and the director Valentina Leduc. Directed by the Fondazione Cinema per Roma and with the artistic direction of Cecilia Romo Pelayo, the festival offers a heterogeneous program that includes eleven feature films and five short films, some in preview, all in the original language with Italian subtitles. The festival opens on Friday 4 October at 7pm with the film “Pan’s Labyrinth”, written and directed by Guillermo Del Toro, produced by Bertha Navarro with Alfonso Cuarón and winner of 97 awards worldwide including six nominations and three Oscar Awards (best cinematography, production design and make-up), seven Goya Awards and nine Ariel Awards.\n\n\n\n\n
