SUMMARY:Journey into Pop Art: a new way of loving things
DESCRIPTION:\nJourney into Pop Art: a new way of loving things, an exhibition project with around 200 works by 45 artists, opens to the public on 13 September. The exhibition is open untill 31st March 2025\n\n\n\nTwo years after the opening of the exhibition space and after hosting important exhibitions such as Flesh: Warhol & The Cow. Andy Warhol’s works at the Vaccheria and From Futurism to virtual art, the spaces of the Vaccheria in the Municipality IX Rome EUR are ready to welcome Journey into Pop Art: a new way of loving things, the new free-entry exhibition project curated by Giuliano Gasparotti and Francesco Mazzei, which will open to the public from 13 September 2024 to 31 March 2025 with around 200 works from private collections and collected by the Rosini Gutman Collection curated by Gianfranco Rosini.\n\n\n\nFrom a large farmhouse in the Roman countryside used as a stable to a cultural hub open to the involvement of all, a point of reference for many young talents and artists from the area, the EUR Vaccheria is a candidate to become, with this new exhibition project, the Roman House of Pop Art, a new Factory updated to today’s context and times, strongly supported by the President of the IX Roma EUR Municipality with responsibility for culture Titti Di Salvo. In addition to the exhibition, the first edition of From Pop to Pop, a festival dedicated to pop culture scheduled from 13 to 15 September with free entry events for all, will help kick off this transformation process.\n\n\n\n\n
